Slain Student Memorial Fund.

The family of Tanisha Murphy, a former Oakland High School head cheerleader and Laney College student has established a memorial fund in her honor.

Murphy, a 21 years old Oakland mother of two was murdered Tuesday, Feb. 11 at her Seminary Ave. home.

Her boyfriend and father of her two year old daughter, Jeffery Williams, 22 is being sought for her slaying. The family asks that anyone with information on Williams' whereabouts contact Sgt. D. Williams of the Oakland Police Department at (510) 238-3821.

Contributions may be made to the Tanisha Murphy Memorial Fund, Account Number 05335 10663 at any Bank of America. The money will be used for the immediate and long term care of her surviving two children. Byron Crawford, 5 years old and Izhane Williams 2 years old.

A quiet hour will be observed on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. Both events will take place at McNary - Morgan - Engel &s; Jackson Funeral Home located at 3630 Telegraph Ave., Oakland, Ca 94609.
