Resident of Antioch Gilberto Ramon Villa, better known as Ramon by friends, will always hold a special place in our hearts. He went to be with Jesus on April 26, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gilberto was born on February 8, 1960 in Oakland, CA. He graduated from Oakland High School in 1978. He became a correctional officer at San Quentin State Prison. He retired after 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife Rechelle Villa; his children Ramon Villa, Rico Villa, Relauna Villa and Rey Villa; his mother Refugio Villa; 4 grandchildren; and his 5 siblings. Gilberto will hold a special place in our hearts, minds and memories. A memorial will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at First Baptist Church, 204 Odessa Avenue, Pittsburg, CA 94565.
