Larsen, David Lee
58, of Chandler, AZ, sailed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. He is survived by his parents Richard and Catherine Larsen, wife Verna (McCartney) Larsen, son Samuel Charles Larsen, brothers Paul and Neil Larsen, and sister Catherine (Larsen) Spurgeon.

Born and raised in Oakland, CA, David grew up competitive sailing on the waters of Lake Merritt and the San Francisco Bay. David met his wife, Verna, at Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo, and they moved to Grass Valley, CA shortly thereafter. He dedicated his career to the telecommunications industry as a Network/Systems engineer for Mitel, Inc. (formerly Inter-Tel, Inc.), which brought him to Chandler, AZ in 2001.

He lived his life with strength and dignity; he faced his death with courage and grace. He will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.

David's Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014, 3pm, at Faith Church of the Valley, 2125 E Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85225, with a reception to follow at the church.
