MAYO, Elizabeth "Liza" Fong , 61, of Mesa, AZ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sept. 21, 2014 at 9:27pm. After a long battle, she succumbed to complications due to her illness.

She was born in Oakland, CA on March 20, 1953 to Loy and June Fong and lived in California until she settled in Arizona in 1995. She was an avid dancer and loved to teach Hula, host parties and her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas. She was always the life of the party and you could not mistake her laugh. She was beloved by her family and many, many friends.

She is survived by her husband Charles Stanley "Stan" Mayo, Mesa, AZ, Daughter Christina Draper Kruse, Portland OR, son Joseph Draper, Charleston, SC, her step children, Jefferson Mayo, Rhonda Hawley, Samuel Mayo, Joseph Mayo, Joshua Mayo and Nathan Mayo, her mother June Choy Fong, her grandchildren Erika Abdulla, Campbell Kruse, Gavin Draper, Reid Kruse, Shyanne Mayo, Spencer Aaron Hawley, Isabel Hawley, Jarom Hawley, Elsie Hawley, and her 7 brothers and sisters, Roger Fong, Bueller Fong, Tamara Youngs, Edward Fong, Adams Fong, Cordell Fong and Clifford Fong.
