Curtis Evans Wong CURTIS EVANS WONG (September 15, 1952 - July 27, 2001) passed peacefully from this life on Friday, July 27, 2001. The youngest son of Wallace and Beatrice Wong, he is survived by his two brothers Roger and Les, and his sister Jerry, sisters-in-law Phyllis and Jackie, nephews Isaac, Nathan, Brian, nieces Elizabeth and Kimberly, and grandniece Sasha. He also had many cousins in the San Bernardino-Colton area in Southern California, with many, many good friends who will long remember him. A native of California, a long-time resident of Oakland, and a graduate of Oakland High School, class of 1970, he was a devoted Oakland A's and Oakland Raider fan. Family and friends shared his interest in car racing, video games, movie trivia, and a keen interest in the American Civil War. Vigil Services will be at 7:30 p.m., August 2, 2001, and the Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., August 3, 2001. Both services will be at St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, 3725 High Street, Oakland, CA. Post funeral arrangements are being handled through the Neptune Society.
