Rhoda Lee-Schoellman, 62, of Bryan, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Lampstand Health & Rehab Center in Bryan. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 7:00 pm., at West Oaks Baptist Church 1901 West Villa Maria, Bryan, TX. Pastor Shawn Hobson will be officiating. Rhoda was born in Oakland, California to Edward Chow Tong Lee and Mabel Hong Lee Chan. She attended California State University. She was fortunate to live in several other states, including Virginia & Florida before making Texas her home. Rhoda loved to travel and be outdoors. She was very loyal to her friends and touched many lives. During her AWANA ministry, she had a great impact on many children for Christ and was awarded the Timothy award. Rhoda dearly missed her German Shepherd Zephyr. She was employed at Sam's Club over 10 years and most recently worked at CS Wal-Mart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Ying Fong-Lee, and brother Allen Lee, in which, Rhoda passed exactly 4 years to the day that he passed away. She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorna Lee-Fong and Howard, Janet Brown and Thom; Aunt Daisy, Uncle's Joe and Willie, Aunt Stella and many nieces, nephews and cousins all of California. She was the sister-in-law of John and Susie Schoellman of College Station and had been married to Michael Schoellman. Rhoda truly loved the lord and witnessed to people given the chance. Her faith was in the Almighty God, as she fought this battle with cancer. She is now resting in her heavenly home with her Savior, Jesus Christ. View her Book of Memories at CallawayJones.com
