David Jack Scoggins, age 64, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012 in Stockton. He was born on March 10, 1947 in Oakland, California. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard S. Scoggins. David is survived by his mother, Anna (Vucovich) Scoggins, his sister Katherine Hoyer, his niece Kami Hoyer all of Madison, Alabama; as well as many nieces and nephews.

David was a veteran of the US Navy, and retired business owner (residential door company). He enjoyed hunting, he loved to play golf, the piano and enjoyed the game of chess. He was a wonderful son, uncle and friend to all who knew him. David will be missed.

Arrangements for Mr. Scoggins services are under the direction of PL Fry & Son Funeral Services, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 20th, from 1pm to 5pm at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Chez Sheri (Manteca Golf course) the same day Jan. 20, from 3pm to 5pm.
