David Glenn Waite, a resident of Mount Shasta, passed away on October 10, 2008 in Mount Shasta following a short illness. He was 64.

Dave was born in Oakland, California on June 23, 1944. He moved to Siskiyou County from Nevada City in 1990.

Dave was a carpenter.

Survirors include two daughters, Andrea Waite of Douglas City and Marissa Waite of Weaverville; his mother, Helen Jean Waite of Aurora, Colorado; and three sisters, Linda Owsiany of Parker, Colorado, Laurie Scheer of Kigali, Rwanda, and Christine Oakley of Bellevue, Washington.

A memorial service will be held this Thursday, October 16 at 2 p.m. at Shasta Abbey in Mount Shasta.
