Bruce Lovell passed away suddenly on December 31, 2013 at the age of 69. Son of Louise Lant and Walter Roff, Bruce was born in Walla Walla, Washington and moved to California at the age of 1 where he continued his life in the Bay Area. He was married 30 years to his wife Roselyn Carol Lovell (Menges) who passed away in 1994. As a graduate of SF Police Academy in 1971, Bruce had an extensive career as an active member of the SFPD. He retired in 2004 after 33 years of service. Since his retirement, Bruce has been active with his grandchildren, friends and family.

He is survived by his loving children: Deana Lovell, Keri Willmes, Kevin Lovell and Wendy Holifield. He is also, survived by his 8 adoring grandchildren: Adam Lovell, Nick Willmes, Kolby Willmes, Jeryn Lovell, Megan Willmes, Brooke Lovell, Amanda Holifield and Austin Holifield.

Funeral services will be held at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel, 1139 Saranap Ave, Walnut Creek, CA 94595, Wednesday, January 8th 2014 at 11 am. Burial will follow at Oakmont Memorial Park.
