Phyllis Ravn Goelz Oct. 4, 1939 - Jan. 29, 2006 Phyllis R. Goelz was born in Oakland and lived her entire life in the Bay Area. She was an animal lover who found joy in her pets and the wildlife that frequented her yard. She was an avid reader, crafter, and gardener. In her youth she was a talented ice skater who dreamed of touring with the "Ice Follies". This wanderlust carried on with a life long love of travel. Phyllis had a long career in the restaurant business beginning at the Plaza Drive-In in the 1960s followed by many years at the Merritt and Emil Villas Hick'ry Pitt.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Wilson of Quartz Hill, Ellen Carlson of Danville and Shelley Wilson of Lancaster; sister, Kristine Powers; brother, Eric Ravn; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
