March 31, 1939 - May 28, 2018 - (79 Years Old)

Tom's heart was as big as the universe, but it stopped beating May 28th at sundown. He passed away suddenly and peacefully in his garden.

After graduating from Oakland High in 1957, he went into homebuilding. He was a contractor for many years specializing in remodels and custom finish work.

Tom will be remembered for his humor, his jokes and his indelible blue eyes.

He made friends wherever he went: the doggy park, McDonalds, Elliot's. He drove around in his little blue car making his rounds, checking on friends with is sidekicks, Mini and Scout.

At gatherings, you always wanted to be near him because that's where all the laughter was.

Tom will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his high school sweetheart and wife of 60 years, Kathy, his children Cheryl (Tom), Tim (Debbie) and Kris (Perry).

He was adored by his 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, all his nieces and nephews, and every kid on the block.

A Celebration of Life for Tom will be announced later this summer.
