After a courageous 2 and a half year battle with cancer, Juanita passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side. Juanita accepted the Lord as her Savior as a young girl while growing up in Oakland, CA. Juanita retired from the City of Hayward in 2007 after 30 years of service; She worked in the Police, Fire and Landscape Departments as a Sr Secretary. She was an active member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West and a volunteer at the Dunsmuir House in Oakland. Her interests included: family, gardening roses, reading and travel.Juanita Craft-Pinto

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Pinto; beloved son Patrick B Craft; parents Clifford and Anna Lawlyes (Taylor) and by her brother, Lt. Harrell Lawlyes, USAF. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Melinda Craft-Almendral of Hayward, CA; her two sons, Robert and Michael Craft of Flower Mound, TX and Brentwood, CA and their spouses, Dawn & Glenda Craft; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and her dear friend Don Shubert.
