Jeannie Hevener a long time resident of Benicia passed away on August 15, 2018. She was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She worked for over 20 years at the Benicia Raley's where she established many relationships with her co-workers and customers. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and pets.

She is survived by her husband Richard Hevener, her children Gretchen Herzog, Dirk Herzog, Heidi Cooper, Shannon Taggart, Richard Hevener Jr. and Shawn Hevener. Her Grandchildren Matthew Herzog, Christopher Cooper, Josh Lobley, Christian Griffith, Elizabeth Cooper, Trinity Griffith, Emerald Bonansea, Lane Herzog, Christina Herzog-Kabisch, Jordan Cooper, Robert Hevener, Amanda Kabisch-Herzog, Zane Hevener, Violet Lobley. Her Great Grandchildren Tyson, Leo and Beau Bonansea and Brooklyn Herzog.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 25, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Benicia Veterans Memorial Hall located at 1150 First Street in Benicia.
