Born in Oakland, CA on May 12, 1938, John passed away in Reno, NV on January 7th, 2012. His parents Jack and Marjorie Carr preceded him in death. John worked as a realtor, however, he was passionate about electronics and was an avid ham radio operator. One of his prized possessions was his license plates with his callsign "K6DDT". He is survived by his son Justin Carr and grandsons Ezra and Donovan Carr of Sacramento; brother Norman Carr; and nephews and niece Patrick, Matt, and Dan Carr and Michelle Carr Aguilar.
