Art passed away at home after a courageous battle with COPD. Survived by the love of his life and soul mate, his wife of 58 years, Lin, sons Kevin and wife Debbie, Tim and wife April, Randy and wife Sue and brother Ron and wife Barbara. Papa Art to Kyle and Courtney. His sister Bobbie Khoury preceded him in death.

Art proudly served his country honorably in the Navy. Long time senior buyer at GM, former president of GM retiree club. Former Cub Master of Scout Pack 227, and president of Fremont American Little League. He was also a charter member of Audubon Society. He raised canaries since age 9 and was certified by National Wildlife Federation as an official backyard wildlife habitat. Life long lover of the outdoors, redwoods and camping and loved to stroll down memory lane (1950's). He was a graduate from Oakland High and was an avid Raiders fan.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, Thursday, May 25th at 11:30 AM with visitation starting at 10:30 AM.
