Clifford "Jack" Wolverton

Resident of Hayward

Jack was born in Jerome, Idaho. He moved with his family to California in 1934. He graduated from Oakland High School in 1950. He proudly worked as a boiler maker for Lox Equipment Co. for 35 years. Jack enjoyed his candy apple red 1968 California Special Mustang, watching Oakland Raider games and Sunday dinners with his family.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elia, his devoted children Elizabeth Taitague and Melissa Marshall of Hayward and Thomas (Tina) Wolverton of Lodi and his grandchildren, Lorenzo, Michelle, Alysa, Nicholas, Austin and Trevor. He is also survived by his sister Joan Sjostrand of Tyler, Texas.

Jack's unique sense of humor and witty repartee were some of his many endearing qualities. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Thursday February 14, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Holy Angels Funeral Center, 1051 Harder Road in Hayward, Ca. Funeral mass will be on Friday February 15, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Bede Catholic Church, 26950 Patrick Avenue in Hayward.
