Anton P. Car passed away at Valley Convalescent Hospital on Thursday, March 9, 2017. He was 86.

Mr. Car was born in Oakland to Peter and Ivana Car and attended Oakland High School. He moved to Watsonville in 1954. Mr. Car worked as a car salesman for Portola Motors and many other car lots in this area for over 50 years. He was a member of S.A.C.O, the Croatian Fraternity Union and was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus member.

Mr. Car is survived by his wife of 64 years, Charlotte Car of Watsonville; children, Peter Car of Aromas and Annette Holm of Syracuse, NY; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Viscovich and a grandson.

A Memorial Mass and Rosary will be held at later date. Mehl's Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
