FIFTH MEMBER OF B-25 CREW DIES
OF CRASH INJURIES THURS.
DENVER -- The death toll as the result of a B25 plane crash near Lowry Air Force Base last Friday rose to five Thursday with the death of 1st Lt. Harrell A. Lawlyes, 26, of Oakland, Calif.
Attendants at the base hospital said Lawlyes, who had been attending school at Lowry, suffered third degree burns over 65 percent of his body.
The three remaining survivors of the crash -- including one woman-- were reported in good condition at the Lowry hospital.
