Albert ("Bud") Olds, Jr.

Albert ("Bud") Olds died peacefully on December 20th 2015 at the age of 90. Al grew up in Oakland, CA, and was a graduate from Oakland High School and UC Berkley (B.S. Electrical Engineering). He worked with Kaiser Engineers for over 35 years and at UC Berkley for 20 years, where he retired at the age of 80. Al's hobbies included Ham Radio (call letters: W6JTM) as well as photography; he enjoyed many years photographing family members and pets.

Al was the loving son of Albert R. Olds Sr. of Vermont and Edna Crane of Wisconsin. He was also brother to Ed Olds and Janet Spearman. (All now deceased.)

He is survived by his nephew, Jim Spearman, of Spokane Washington. He is also survived by his loving companion and friend, Beverly Shearer, and his adopted family: Dan Shaerer, Cam Shearer, and Lori Abendroth.

Memorial Service will be held at the Oakland Chapel of the Chimes on Saturday, January 2nd 2016, at 1:00pm 510-228-3232.
