SARVER, Merle - In Walnut Creek, on January 6, at 79 years of age. A native of Oakland, CA, moving to Contra Costa County in 1971. A homemaker for whom her family and friends were her life. Mother of Dr. Donald (Terry) Sarver, Howard Sarver and Dr. Larry (Dr. Joy) Sarver; grandmother of Matt Rittenberg, Alisa Sarver Latvala (Rich Latvala), Amy Sarver and Morgan Sarver; friend and companion of Harry Kahn [OHS 1941] and aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Dr. Morton Sarver [OHS 1940]. Services will be held on Friday, January 9th, at 11:00 AM, at Home Of Eternity Cemetery Chapel, 5000 Piedmont Ave., Oakland.
