Kenneth L. Smith passed away on Monday after a battle with cancer. He was loved dearly by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Kenneth was born in Oakland, California; he was a graduate of Oakland High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII as a Corpsman in the Islands of the South Pacific. Kenneth was a retired member of the Retail Clerks Union.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Betty, devoted children Kathleen Grave of Tracy, CA, Thomas Smith of Chaparral, New Mexico, and Nanette Ochoa of Tracy, CA, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. His generous and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward.
