FLOWERS, Thomas E. "Pat" - Passed on peacefully in his sleep at his home in SF on February 12, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Koko; hi sister, Susan; nieces, Margaret and Caroline; nephews, Michael and Steve; grand-niece, Hannah; and grand-nephew, Peter. He graduated from Oakland High School where he held the 440 track record for many years, received a B.A. degree with double major in civil engineering and business administration from University of Californi at Berkeley, and public administration studies at the Coro Foundation in San Francisco. He was a World War II B-24 bomber pilot, former city manager of Martinez, founder and president of Western Urban Redevelopment Investment Corporation, and a founding member of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists. He was active with the San Francisco Democratic party. In later years he became a successful investment banker. A generous man, he was a staunch supporter of Cal's Big "C" Society, and contributor to Cal Track and Field fund, and many charitable organizations. At Tom's request there will be no funeral. Memorial Gathering to celebrate his life will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or to Hospice of Northern California.
