Edward S. Steccone July 2, 1921 - Mar. 17, 2012 Resident of Oakland Edward S. Steccone passed away peacefully on March 17, 2012. He was the loving husband of the late Elsie Steccone and his late sister, Laura Steccone. He is survived by his brother, Henry Steccone, nieces Portia Harvey of San Jose, Theresa Spellman of Petaluma and nephew Edward P. Steccone of Richmond. Ed was loved and admired by great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Ed will also be missed by many friends, especially Betty O'Conner and Tom Cleeland. Edward served our country in Europe with pride and courage during WWII. After the war, Ed became the general manager of Guy's Drugs of Oakland, CA. A lifelong University of California football fan, Ed and his brother Hank, were season ticket holders for over forty years. A Mass will be said at St. Jarlath's Church, Oakland, CA, on March 26th, at 11:00 am. Following the Mass, the services will conclude at St. Mary Cemetery in Oakland, CA.
