Charles Glenn Malley, M.D.

C. Glenn Malley, M.D., age 94, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 10th. Devoted husband of Sheila M. Malley, loving father of Brian, Susan, Margaret and Lynn, cherished grandfather of Jennifer and Theresa, great grandfather of Christian and Jacob, cherished stepfather of Patrick, Laura and Jennifer, step-grandchildren Brittany, Brooke, Natalie, Adam, Darla, Lily, Audrey and Charlotte. He was predeceased by his wife and mother of his four children, Kathleen L. Malley.
Born in Oakland, CA on March 6, 1920 at Providence Hospital, Dr. Malley graduated from Oakland High School and attended UC Berkeley. Upon entering the army he was sent to Marquette University, obtaining his M.D. degree in 1944. Dr. Malley proudly served as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. He founded the Oakland Medical Group and practiced Internal Medicine for over 40 years, providing dedicated care to residents of Oakland.
Dr. Malley was a Knight of Malta and a Knight of St. Gregory.
A Mass of Requiem will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Oakland, at 11:00am on September 16, 2014.
